On The day of your appointment, you may be anywhere, as long as you are comfortable and in a private setting. Your therapist will send out a Google Meetings invitation between 8am and 10am. When the time for your session comes up, click on the link to join the session. If your therapist is not there, wait and they will join you as soon as they are done with the previous client. You may do this from your cell phone, tablet, or computer.

During your first appointment your therapist will take a careful inventory of your symptoms and needs. You will be asked about your family history, trauma history, and any other information that will help us to understand your needs. Your therapist will then suggest a course of treatment and goals.
-
Therapy is individual to the client’s needs. If the need is related to a trauma such as an assault or sudden death or loss, you may be in therapy 6 months to a year. If the need is related to something similar to an adjustment such as a move or life change such as job loss, divorce, etc the time may be shorter. You get to decide what your goals are and if they are being met in therapy. We work with our clients as a team to make treatment decisions.
-
A good faith estimate is transparency in healthcare pricing. Our pricing will not change without warning. If there will be any changes, you will be notified and given time to adjust and make treatment decisions as needed.
-
We take two types of insurance: Aetna and United Behavioral Health.
If you have another type of insurance, you may pay the self pay rate and then we can provide you with a superbill to file a claim with your insurance company. We do not file the claim or superbill for you. You will need to speak to your insurance about how to file your superbill.
